Appearance: Standing at a little less than five foot tall, this pale young woman has blonde hair that falls to her mid-back, lacking a fringe and with layers cropped around her face. She still has some puppy fat, and her cheeks are naturally quite flush unless covered by make up. Her blue eyes are weak, and therefore normally behind a set of glasses, of which Alice has multiple sets and styles. Clothing wise, the petite female is normally in dresses or wearing something with shorts unless the weather calls for it, and likes accessorising and having her nails painted. Her outfits are normally quite colourful, but not always. She has a big mole in the middle of her back and wonky teeth, and she has bruises in various spots of her body from having to take injections multiple times a day. Otherwise, though, her skin is very soft and the few blemishes she has - like her dark eye circles - can be easily hidden by make up. Alice sometimes has scratches on the back of her legs and feet from scratching herself in her sleep as she dislikes wearing socks often.

Personality: If Alice's personality could be condensed into idol or anime archetypes, she would be the honour student with a devilish princess syndrome and a dangerous yandere spark to top it all off. As she was raised an only child, the young woman has relished being the sole hoarder of attention and, for the most part, a teacher's pet given her intelligence and generally good behaviour. She is incredibly materialistic – although charitable to family, friends and the right causes if there's time or funds to spare – and there is always something that she has her pretty eyes on. When denied her wishes, Alice will either politely put up a front or throw down a tantrum depending on occasion or place, but regardless of her outer reaction, Alice can certainly hold a grudge.
The rookie trainer can work hard with the right motivation, but is otherwise lazy and my-paced, preferring to play all night and sleep after noon, and is far too prissy to sleep rough unless forced. With her natural cuteness in both appearance and voice, the aspiring idol is quite vain, and she loves being pampered or admiring her own reflection, and she also uses it for the purposes of manipulation-- but usually jokes about it, to come off as modest and humourous rather than crude.
Despite this innocent and usually playful image, Alice is inwardly quite damaged, and carries a lot of sadness, anxiety and anger, which is bottled up to explode later. She is good at giving advice but not so grand at following it, and she's a reliable leader and friend because of how honest and forthright she can be. Also, although she can be a strong leader, Alice can be easily spooked, and has a great fear for fire and therefore fire-type Pokemon, as well as some ghosts and bugs. The young woman dreams of romances, but is also quite perverse, with no preference in terms of sex or gender for her relationships at all. Altogether, this seemingly classy lady is full of inconsistencies and oxymorons, and cute and complex sum her up.
Likes: Alice likes sleeping in and eating a lot of food (particularly savoury over sweet, although it doesn't appear to be that way), going for a jog/doing other exercises when people aren't around to watch her run like a distressed Piplup and 'nerdier' forms of entertainment such as video games, reading and the like. She's incredibly vain and loves spending money, both on herself and other people, for that boost of dopamine - especially if it means more material goods or getting pampered somewhere. She prefers cool/milder weather over extremes, and is a stickler for manners unless bantering - and even then, there's a line. She loves to be fussed over and to fuss over others like the typical wota, but Alice is actually an introvert who prefers her own space. She can only handle so much socialisation before she can't be bothered.
Dislikes: Too much work, the outdoors in extreme conditions (which can be anything from too hot to snow to a walk uphill on dodgy terrain), getting up too early, most creepy creatures, the smell and taste of coffee, people who are rude, judgemental and/or arrogant, failure in general (especially from herself)
Motivations: Money and attaining/maintaining success are very important to her. She is also motivated by her friends and those she cares about - even if she's only met them online or they're simply idols/celebrities who don't exist. Alice hopes to attain true love one day, but until then, she's happy just being 'noticed' by those she admires and fantasising, and trying to be a good person. As she suffers from things like depression, these motivations can be important on getting her through her days. She's also motivated by this new world she's in and the Pokemon she has or meets along the way, the magical experience refreshing and inspiring (if not terrifying, honestly)
Fears: Fire is a big fear, and now that she's in the wild world of Pokemon, plenty of ghosts, bugs and poisonous or otherwise creepy critters scare the hell out of Alice. She fears failure and humiliation both day to day and just entirely in her life, and complete isolation/abandonment. Alice both wants answers to her predicament and fears them to be terrible: that she might be dead or insane, or worse - that for one reason or another she'll have to leave the world for good and leave her Pokemon/others behind. For Alice, staying in some coma state or living out her afterlife in the fantasy might be better than the alternative.
History: Before Alice was so much as an idea, her mother Kyna Hope was a coordinator who hailed from Goldenrod City. She was known well in the circuit: a glamorous young lady who had been among the top students at her school and traveled far and wide to compete. Her favourite regions where she spent plenty of her time, aside from her home in Johto, included Hoenn, Kalos, Unova and Alola. When she wasn’t putting on a performance she was usually enjoying retail therapy or some kind of vacation. One day while on an excursion to Saffron City, she met a handsome man who had caught her attention at the bar. He was a tough trainer with a bad edge, from Viridian City who was tech savvy and from a mysterious family of elites. They seemed to fall for each other fast.
They were both busy, and the relationship was long distance for the most part, calling and meeting as often as they could. For Kyna it was easier to be flexible, but the fact he enjoyed his own time and space made life easier. Eventually she realised why. The man was the heir to Team Rocket admin and unsettlingly good at his job. Kyna cut off the relationship with little explanation and decided to start over in the Orange Archipelago, settling down in a large Ascorbia Island apartment. She hadn’t told him she was carrying his child.
Being a single mother was tough, although Kyna did have support. She came from a large family. One set of parents lived in Cyllage Town in Kalos, another in Floaroma in Sinnoh; an older brother in Celadon and a sister in Cherrygrove. All were happy to travel with or without their own families to lend a hand. Her daughter was a noisy, rambunctious baby who cried often and always knew when it was time to eat. Kyna had taken a job as a teacher in an academy on Mandarin Island and Alice often spent time at a creche there or sometimes with her Pokemon. She got along well with most of them except for Kyna’s Camerupt. A fear of fire would eventually emerge, although where that stemmed from was a mystery.
Alice grew up to be an odd but energetic kid. She spent a lot of free time playing on the beach or by other spots of water, loved feeding wild Pokemon and reading. Alice loved ballet and to sing and dance, often drawn to famous trainers, coordinators and idols on the TV. At school she had two modes: dumb as hell or exceeding all expectations, although her eccentricity, glasses and wonky teeth did mean she got bullied a lot (as did having a teacher for a parent). The chronic illness that surfaced at age seven didn’t help, either, and Alice was often covered in bumps and bruises not only from clumsiness but the medicine she had to take to survive. Pokemon, though, seemed naturally drawn to her - for better or worse. Maybe it was because they sensed when humans needed help and love. Maybe it was the mysterious magic that even she was oblivious to, drawing them close with her passion, her affection, her melodies--
That power drew more than the attention of monsters, however. Team Rocket has its thugs embedded in every sector of society, and one day while playing alone on her home island, they made their move. It was only when doing his detective work did a certain man make a certain realisation of who that child actually was. Their latest target was his own flesh and blood. She had his blonde hair, his need of glasses, the unstraightened teeth and goodness knew what else. Team Rocket was a company that made allowances for families - it was a business after all - and while all existed for Team Rocket there was a level of understanding there. Motivated by a mixture of selfishness and his work, the admin made his move.

Alice woke up in a new world, or so she believed A world where Pokemon were supposedly fiction, mere stories. She was confused, traumatised, but children adapt - they have to. At some point down the line, those memories faded away; a mixture of drugs, therapy, suppression. She went to a normal school. Her body wasn’t properly built for ballet, the dream cast aside for her love of idols. Alice went to performing arts school, took part in theatre and radio; took advantage of the social media hype and became a personality. Vlogging, singing, writing, whatever - her family were rich, it wasn’t like she needed to worry about a ‘real job’.
And then, one day, Alice woke up. She wasn’t in her bedroom. There was a Pokemon next to her. Void of the memories of her childhood, and torn by only reality she truly knew, the question was: is any of this for real, or not?
